Journal of Legal and Social Changes (JLSC) – Vol. 2 No. 1 (2026): January presents articles subject to a double-blind peer-review process addressing contemporary legal issues and social change through empirical research and conceptual analysis, with a particular emphasis on ratio decidendi within developing-country contexts; its scope includes legal reasoning across diverse perspectives such as criminal, civil, commercial, customary, religious, and state administrative law, and all manuscripts are published under an open-access framework.

Journal of Legal and Social Changes (JLSC) is a double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access journal established by Scientia Plus Corp.
JLSC aims to publish manuscripts of high-quality research and conceptual analysis in the field of law, with a focus on ratio decidendi from developing countries. The journal covers legal reasoning in various perspectives, including criminal law, civil law, commercial law, customary law, religious law, and state administration. JLSC publishes one volume with two issues per year (May-November).
JLSC accepts submissions from all over the world. All submitted articles must be written in English, have never been published elsewhere, are original, and are not under consideration for other publications. The JLSC Editorial Board screens plagiarism using the Turnitin Program. If plagiarism exceeds 15%, the manuscript will be automatically rejected.
JLSC is indexed in Google Scholar, Crossref, Garuda, and SINTA.
If the submitted manuscript does not adhere to the guidelines or follows a different format, it will be rejected before being reviewed by the Editorial Board. The Editor will only accept manuscripts that comply with the formatting specifications. All submissions must be made through the JLSC OJS system. We do not accept submissions via email. The Editor does not issue LoA (Letter of Acceptance) separately—LoA is only issued in the form of an accepted paper notification.
